"Extending God's grace beyond the walls of Cypress Meadows Community Church"

The Extension Ministry gives participants a fresh vision of God's work in unfamiliar surroundings and exposes them to the work God is doing through Cypress Meadows.

The Extension Ministry can assist participants in overcoming their hesitancy or fears of reaching out into other cultures. Our objective is to show multiple expressions of the compassion of Christ, and to create an opportunity for evangelism through serving experiences (seekers seeing the church in action).

Molly and Joseph Bail head up the Extension Ministry at Cypress Meadows. Says Molly (pictured at left), "I know in our fast-paced world, it's often difficult to slow down enough to share, welcome and give. But God tells us not to hide from people in need; we are to reach out to those we so often rush past. I hope you or possibly members of your Small Group will feel the desire to participate in some service opportunities that we have been working on."

Remember, Jesus had a special place in His heart for the lost, the suffering, the poor and the oppressed, and He instructed his followers to serve these people. He told His followers that they were to bear His light in the world.

Come and experience a heart transformation by serving the disadvantaged, and deepen community within Small Groups while learning how to serve together beyond the walls of the church.
