New to Cypress Meadows?

We believe that in a world that’s full of pain and heartache the people of the local church can offer hope and restoration. We may not get it right every time but we’re trying. And with God’s help, we’re confident that we can make a life-changing and eternal impact in our community and in a few communities around the world.

Here are a couple of other things we believe that will help you understand us a little better…

About God – We believe in God, one and only God. God is perfect, loving, and just. We believe God wanted to have a personal and intimate relationship with every man and woman he created but couldn’t because of the sin that separated us from His perfection.

About Jesus – We believe that God was so overcome with love for us that He chose to send His one and only son, Jesus, to die on a cross and pay the penalty for each of our sins and that everyone gets to choose whether or not to accept this gift of grace that is free and abundant.

About the church – We believe that the church = people who love Jesus and love others. We are not perfect but we take our call to love our neighbor very seriously. We are crazy passionate about sharing God’s grace in this community through our words, attitudes, and actions. We are also constantly striving to love one another like the Acts 2 church. We share when a Meadower has a need, challenge each other to chase after God, and are here for each other to celebrate life’s greatest joys and survive life’s greatest challenges. No one should do life alone. We believe that’s why God created the church.

About the Bible – We believe the Bible is God’s eternal Word to humanity. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for what we believe and the way we live. And although God reveals Himself to us through the Bible, its okay to have a lot of questions along the way (we all do).

About you – You are loved, unconditionally, by God.  He sent His son Jesus to die for your sins.  You have a hope and a future in Jesus Christ, if you choose.  And you are welcome here, at Cypress Meadows.
