Next Steps
- Reflection. Take some time this week to reflect. Pray and ask God to show you where you could be more authentic, more inclusive, less judgemental, etc If you’re not sure about your weaknesses consider printing the “Top 10 Christians I Can’t Stand” and asking a trusted friend which might describe you.
- Commit to specific action steps. When you sense God is challenging you in a certain area, commit to specific actions that will help stretch you in that area. For example, if you sense you may be somewhat of an It’s-all-about-me Christian, commit to serving others in a specific way.
- Tell someone. Tell a trusted friend where you sense God is stretching you and what specific action steps you’ve decided to take. Ask him or her to ask you periodically how you’re doing in that area.
