Baptism Sunday
Listen to the stories of some of the children, teens, and adults whose lives have been transformed by God after they choose to put their faith in His Son, Jesus. Some went to church as a child and drifted away, some never really knew about Jesus before attending Cypress, some were living aimless even distructive lives… until they began attending Cypress Meadows and found the thing missing from their lives - faith in Jesus. Hear real people, with real lives, who found real hope…
Listen online:
- Why do Christians use the fish as a symbol?
- Baptism stories - first service, part 2
- Baptism stories - second service, part 1
- Baptism stories - second service, part 2
- Closing prayer
Note: not all of the baptism stories shared in the services are available online as some of them could not be heard above the background music.
Next Steps
- If you are a spiritual seeker and ready to trust Jesus, you can do that now. Pray something like this: “God, I know I’ve done wrong in my life - I’ve sinned. I believe that Jesus died on the cross as payment for my sin. I chose to follow you God, making you the leader of my life.” You are now a Christ-follower! Please tell someone.
- If you are seeking God and have been moved by the stories you heard here but are not ready to put your trust in God yet, please contact the church at let us know how we can help you in your spiritual journey
- If you were close to God earlier in your life but have drifted away, know that God is waiting with open arms for you to return to him.

Hearing all the personal stories of the way God changed their lives was awesome! Chris put together a video from the service and baptism which can be viewed on the “Lives Changed” page:
