Meet Cypress Meadows Community Church
Cypress Meadows Community Church is a non-denominational church in Clearwater, Florida, serving the Tampa Bay area. In a region filled with large, program-driven churches, Cypress occupies a unique and meaningful space in the community. The heart of Cypress is to create a safe, authentic environment where people can belong even before they believe. Services are casual and welcoming, with modern worship and messages that make Scripture practical, accessible, and deeply relevant to everyday life.
Cypress has a strong passion for the next generation, grounded in the conviction that becoming a truly multi-generational church begins with intentionally reaching kids and students. Cypress has shaped its ministry around the firm belief that the church is more than a building or a highly produced Sunday event; it’s a vibrant family supporting one another in life and faith, growing in Jesus, and sharing that journey together. Cypress holds to the historic foundations of the Christian faith while striving to make that faith meaningful, engaging, and approachable for people from every walk of life.
It may be short and sweet, but it’s loaded with meaning. Let’s unpack that.
“Bring” means it relational and invitational. This isn’t just a corporate mission—it’s personal for everyone who follows Jesus.
“Everyone” isn’t about numbers; it’s about who we’re called to love and serve. When we say everyone, we picture the skeptic, the doubter, the spiritually burned-out; someone who has maybe tried church but never felt like they belonged. Bottom line: we’re here for you, no matter who you are.
“Closer to God” is what the journey is all about—step by step, following Jesus and becoming more like Him.

Our Beliefs
What do we believe? First of all—we hold to the historic tenets of the Christian faith. If you want the details, you can read our statements of faith.

We believe church should be a safe environment, filled with people you actually enjoy being around.
We believe messages should be rooted in Scripture and genuinely helpful for everyone.
We believe kids and teens should love church so much that they’re dragging their parents out the door every Sunday morning.
We believe the songs we sing aren’t to entertain us, but to help us encounter the love of God.

We believe the church is a family. And in a family, you don’t shake hands… you hug. But if a fist bump feels safer, we respect that too.
