Summer Madness with Cypress Youth
We’re going to Islands of Adventure!
Date: Thurs. July 30th, 2026
Time: 7 am - 11 pm
Location: Universal Islands of Adventure, Orlando
Cost: $100 per person**
Who: Students going into grades 6-12 (Bring a friend!)
Summer isn’t over yet, and it’s about to get crazy (in a good way). Get ready to travel with other teens at Cypress as you set out for an amped up summer theme park adventure. Enjoy the 2-hour van ride eating snacks, listening to music and getting to know the other students going with you.
Then arrive at Universal Islands of Adventure for a day of coasters, rides, fun and food. We’ll arrive at the park when it opens at 9am, and then spend the day enjoying everything Islands of Adventure has to offer.
Then pass out (but don’t crash out) in the van as you and your new friends ride home and relive the best parts of the day together. We’ll return to Cypress at 11 pm where parents will be ready to take you home.

FAQs
What’s the plan?
July 30th
7 am - We depart! Students ride together with adult chaperones
9 am - Enjoy the day at Islands of Adventure
9 pm - Hop back in the vans and return to Cypress
11 pm - Half-asleep parents pick up their dead-tired or high-up-sugar youth
What about food?
Students will need to bring their own spending money for food, drinks and souvenirs in the park. How much depends on your youth.
Will my youth be supervised?
Once we arrive at Islands of Adventure, depending on the size of the group, older teens may be on their own in the park, with regularly scheduled check-ins with their chaperone, some in person, some via text. Younger middle school students will be with an adult at all times.
Can my youth invite their friends?
Yes! Each Cypress youth will be allowed to bring one friend from outside Cypress.
What’s the cost?
Tickets are $100 per person.
Adults are welcome to join us. They may need to provide separate transportation.
What if we really can’t afford $100?
More than anything, we want your teen to enjoy this event and connect with other students at Cypress, NO MATTER WHAT. If the cost of admission is a deterrent, please let us know — either in person or by checking the financial box on the registration form.
